Alron Chemical Co AB is pleased to announce that all our peroxide products have now been tested, according to standard SS-EN14476:2013+A2:2019 (Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics - Quantitative suspension test for evaluation of virucidal activity in medicine), against e.g. vaccinia virus (envelope virus) with approved results.

A test according to standard EN14476:2013 demonstrates whether a product's active ingredients are capable of killing a number of pre-selected virus classes represented by known pathogenic viruses. An acceptable result according to this standard means that the active ingredients of the product are capable of killing a population of virus particles to 99.99%.

The test result, issued by an accredited laboratory, means that Alron's peroxide-based products (see picture above) have proven virucidal activity against, among others, all known envelope viruses (incl. Covid-19).

Based on this information, Alron will develop a range of new, consumer-friendly disinfectants to combat the Corona virus(SARS-Covid-2), among others.

We can already offer WipeOx® which is a more user-friendly version of the WipeOx®-Pro disinfectant wipe. WipeOx® is a gentler product suitable for everyday disinfection of various contact surfaces and can be used by everyone.

We have also developed an improved version of Alron Hand Disinfection that will soon be sold in smaller, consumer-friendly packaging.
