With the modest arrival of summer and the temperatures now prevailing in the country, we would like to make a strong recommendation
to all customers not to store Odox, Odox-DF, Alron Citrox, Penetrox and Maxox-DF in direct sunlight or temperatures exceeding 25°C.
At these temperatures, the hydrogen peroxide in our products degasses much faster than normal.
This is particularly true of the Penetrox blend with Booster / Bleaching additive where degassing, which is part of the process, occurs significantly
much faster at elevated temperatures.
There is therefore a predominant risk in storing any of these products in closed vessels as they could potentially become so over-pressurised that the container could burst.
Storing peroxide mixtures in sealed containers in this heat can therefore be associated with extreme danger and carry the risk of serious injury to persons and property.
