Fogging

Grouting -
Removing odors and contaminants

Mopping is a method used to effectively sanitize and remove odors, bacteria and contaminants in different types of environments. It is carried out using a dry sweeping or wet sweeping machine.

By creating a fine mist of sanitizer, the grout reaches even the most inaccessible surfaces and spaces.

This makes the method particularly useful for problems such as mold, smoke or other unwanted odors. There are two main types of caulking:

  • Dry sweeping: Ideal for furnished areas where sensitive equipment is present.
  • Wet mopping: Effective for more severe decontamination needs in open or unfurnished environments.

Fogging for smoke and mold damage

  1. Start by ensuring that the source of the problem has been addressed (e.g. fire or moisture damage).
  2. In case of smoke damage: Use Odox-DF for furnished spaces or Maxox-DF for empty spaces.
  3. In case of mold odor: Treat surfaces with Odox or Penetrox depending on the type of material.
  4. Carry out the fogging with a Thermfogger Type III for residential applications or a Patriot Pulsjet Fogger for larger spaces such as warehouses and industries.
  5. If necessary, repeat the process to ensure that all odors and contamination are eliminated.

At Alron, we pride ourselves on offering effective and durable grouting solutions that make cleanup easier and safer.

Frequently asked questions about caulking

If done correctly, grouting is gentle on most materials and surfaces. Our products are designed to be used safely in both furnished and unfurnished spaces, without leaving harmful residues or affecting sensitive surfaces.

The time will vary depending on the size of the space and the extent of the problem. Smaller spaces can be treated in 1-2 hours, while larger premises may require a full day for best results.

Yes, when used correctly according to the instructions, grouting is safe. However, it is important that the space is ventilated after treatment and that the recommended safety procedures are followed.

Normally there are no negative side effects, but some decontaminants may have a slight residual odor that disappears after airing. Alron products are designed to minimize such effects.

Unlike conventional cleaning, sweeping reaches both airborne particles and small spaces that are otherwise difficult to clean. Our products make the process even more effective by actively eliminating contaminants without leaving harmful residues.
