Aiming for EU-wide sales

Alron Chemical's products are currently available in the Nordic countries, Poland, Germany and Spain. But the ambition is that within a few years we will be present throughout the EU – which would mean a big step forward for the company, and a head start over the competition.

Meeting a great need

In addition to peroxide-based agents, we develop products based on microbiological bacteria that, instead of masking dirt and bad odors, eliminate them using their natural decomposition process. It is a unique innovation for this area of application.

"We know that we are unique in the market and that there is a great need for our solutions throughout the EU. Right now, we are in the middle of a process where we have just submitted an application to register our products in all EU countries," says Kristoffer Ceder, site manager at Alron Chemical in Strängnäs.

Kristoffer estimates that it may take about two to three years before the permit process is completed.

- We have already been working for almost a year on all the preparations required to apply for the permit, so we are not worried about another company entering the same market. Therefore, we are not worried that any other company will come in and do the same thing as us in the same market. Any competitors are several years behind us at this stage.
