Wood sealant

Wood sealers are normally used undiluted. Each litre of Wood Sealer covers approximately 5 m2 at each application. Porosity varies greatly and so does the amount of Wood Sealer required. The solution is applied with a paintbrush, rubber scraper, sprayer or electric chemical applicator. Leave on for several minutes to achieve even penetration. Once the first treatment has dried, at least one additional treatment is recommended. In environments where treated wood is exposed to rain or free moisture (condensation), the Wood Sealer treatment should be protected with Alron Weather Protection. Alron Weather Protection is applied 2-5 hours after the last Wood Sealer treatment and using the same methods. Curing is complete after 24 hours. During the curing period, the wood must not be exposed to rain or free moisture. The sealed surface can normally be painted over without any problems. However, it is important that the surface is free of silicate residues before painting. Washing with warm water will remove the alkalinity of the silicate treatment. Use alkali-resistant paint.
NOTE! Avoid contact with glass surfaces, which may etch or tarnish on contact with Wood Sealer. Tools are cleaned by rinsing with warm water.
