Alron's remedies for mould remediation

Alron’s mold remediation products are developed and formulated to be as powerful and effective as possible when applied, while also contributing to environmentally friendly mold remediation and disinfection. This is achieved by leaving no environmentally hazardous residues behind and generating no byproducts that are harmful to health.

Why is hydrogen peroxide used for mold remediation?

Alron has chosen to use hydrogen peroxide as the main active ingredient in our mold remediation products, as it has a high oxidation capacity and breaks down and kills mold at the molecular level, while the spent hydrogen peroxide breaks down into nothing but oxygen and water.

In addition, hydrogen peroxide, when used in higher concentrations, has a bleaching effect that can be utilized to remove mold and its discoloration. This can contribute to a visually and psychologically cleaner end result after mold remediation.

We are convinced that it is not necessary to use toxic chemicals for mold remediation or products that indirectly contribute to creating unhealthy indoor environments. One simply should not contaminate an indoor environment by introducing something that did not exist there before the damage occurred.

Our mold remediation products are versatile and do more than just kill and remove mold. They also work excellently for disinfection and odor removal.

What makes an effective disinfectant?

For a chemical to be classified as a disinfectant, it must possess properties that enable it to reduce the number of harmful microbes in a population by at least 99.99%, so that the population no longer poses a risk of infection.

Several of our disinfectants and mold remediation products possess these properties, including Alron Booster, Odox, Odox-DF, Penetrox, and Maxox-DF. These properties are supported by laboratory test reports.

The most common disinfectants on the market today are often alcohol-based or chlorine-based. These chemicals have effective disinfecting properties but can also cause strong odors, respiratory irritation, skin dryness, or unwanted byproducts, which also places high demands on current regulations governing biocidal products and chemical management within the EU.

Hydrogen peroxide, on the other hand, has effective disinfecting properties even at lower concentrations, does not dry out surfaces, is non-flammable, has a long shelf life, and breaks down into oxygen and water. This makes it an effective option for mold remediation and environmentally friendly disinfection.
