Wood sealant

A silicate-based sealant for concrete, cement and mortar. The agent does not just settle on the surface but penetrates into the treated material, reducing its porosity and permeability. Treated surfaces become harder, more resistant to chemicals and gain protection against biological growth.
Packaging: 3x5L
Soluble silicates have been used for years for concrete sealing and cement surface sealing. The silicates in our Concrete Sealer product react chemically with calcium hydroxide in concrete, cement or mortar and reduce porosity and permeability. This makes the treated surface harder and more resistant to chemicals, which increases its service life.
Sodium and potassium silicates are inorganic, water-soluble and environmentally friendly chemical compounds. Membrane-forming sealers can wear away from high-traffic surfaces, leaving the surface unsightly and vulnerable to chemicals. As silicates penetrate concrete, they cannot be scraped or peeled off. It is even possible to polish a surface treated with concrete sealer to a high gloss.
